Mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy (mHBOT) works on the principle of Henry's Law. As pressure inside the chamber increases and the user breathes oxygen-enriched air, the partial pressure of oxygen in the lungs rises. The therapy enables more oxygen to dissolve directly into the blood plasma and other body fluids, and increase the amount of dissolved oxygen available throughout the body.
Unohai mild hyperbaric oxygen chambers operate through a coordinated system of controlled air compression, pressure regulation and air circulation. During operation, an air compressor draws in ambient air, passes it through a filtration system, and then pumps it into the sealed chamber to increase internal pressure gradually. Guided by real-time feedback from pressure sensors, the control system regulates air intake and exhaust rates to maintain chamber pressure within a mild range of 1.1–1.3 ATA. Simultaneously, the ambient air is continuously introduced while the exhaust system facilitates controlled air exchange, helping maintain a stable pressure and ongoing air circulation inside the mHBOT chamber.
Meanwhile, an oxygen concentrator utilizes molecular sieve to separate and concentrate oxygen from ambient air, delivering concentrated oxygen directly to the nasal cannula inside the mHBOT chamber via a separate line. At the end of the session, the automatic depressurization system gradually releases internal pressure and enables the hyperbaric chamber to return slowly to normal atmospheric pressure before opening the chamber door.
